Smoke shop cashier / Manager

Job Summary
We are seeking an energetic and detail-oriented Smoke Shop Cashier / Manager to lead daily operations and deliver exceptional customer service in a vibrant retail environment. This role combines hands-on cashier duties with management responsibilities, ensuring smooth store functioning, inventory control, and team leadership. The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced setting, possess strong communication skills, and have a passion for retail sales and customer engagement. Responsibilities

• Greet customers warmly, providing knowledgeable assistance on products including smoking accessories, vaporizers, and related merchandise
• Upsell to customers \& recommend everything that they need.
• Build a strong relationship with customers to keep them satasfied and keep them coming back.
• Operate POS (Point of Sale) systems accurately for sales transactions.
• Manage inventory levels through regular stock checks and merchandising to maximize sales opportunities
• Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash handling, and balancing registers
• Supervise staff by training new employees, scheduling shifts, and ensuring high standards of customer service and store presentation
• Maintain compliance with all legal regulations regarding age restrictions and product sales while enforcing store policies
• Handle customer inquiries professionally via phone or in person.
• Implement marketing strategies to attract new customers and promote special promotions or new product launches

Experience

• Proven management experience in retail or similar customer-focused environments with supervisory responsibilities
• Demonstrated proficiency in cash handling, retail math, and POS systems
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask efficiently in a busy setting
• Excellent communication skills; bilingual or multilingual abilities are a plus for serving diverse clientele
• Familiarity with retail sales techniques, merchandising strategies, and store marketing efforts
