Restaurant Training Manager (F&B)

We are recruiting an experienced Restaurant Training Manager on behalf of a well-established restaurant group in Jeddah. The successful candidate will develop, deliver and monitor training programs across the group’s restaurant operations.

This is a hands-on, restaurant-focused training position rather than a general corporate learning and development role. The Restaurant Training Manager will work closely with operations, branch managers and restaurant teams to ensure consistent service standards, operational procedures and guest experience across all locations.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and manage onboarding programs for new restaurant employees
• Deliver practical training to front-of-house and relevant back-of-house teams
• Train employees on restaurant SOPs, service standards and guest experience
• Conduct menu, product-knowledge and upselling training
• Deliver training covering food safety, hygiene, grooming and workplace conduct
• Prepare training manuals, presentations, checklists and assessment materials
• Organize train-the-trainer programs for restaurant managers and supervisors
• Visit branches regularly to observe performance and identify training gaps
• Provide refresher and corrective training based on operational requirements
• Support new branch openings and the introduction of new menus or procedures
• Maintain training attendance, assessment and employee-certification records
• Monitor training effectiveness and recommend improvements
• Work with operations and HR to improve employee performance and service consistency

Candidate Requirements

• Experience in restaurant training, F\&B learning and development, brand training or restaurant operations
• Strong knowledge of restaurant SOPs and service standards
• Proven experience training frontline restaurant employees
• Ability to train front-of-house and relevant back-of-house teams
• Experience preparing training materials, assessments and operational manuals
• Strong presentation, facilitation, coaching and communication skills
• Multi-branch restaurant experience is strongly preferred
• Upper-casual or fine-dining restaurant experience would be an advantage
• Currently based in Saudi Arabia or possessing relevant KSA restaurant experience
• Willing to be based in Jeddah

Candidates coming from general corporate learning and development should be able to demonstrate substantial hands-on experience delivering training inside restaurant operations.
