The Content Specialist is responsible for creating, curating, and managing compelling content that supports student recruitment, brand positioning, and engagement across digital and offline channels. This role will ensure consistent messaging and tone of voice across all touchpoints, driving awareness and conversion.
This position will work closely with the Digital Campaign Specialist and CRM and Performance Specialist to align marketing and sales activity with institutional priorities and will involve a wide range of duties, including writing and editing, strategic planning, performance analysis, and collaborating with other teams to ensure content is relevant, consistent, and effective for marketing and communication objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of the College’s content strategy by creating engaging, brand aligned materials that improve the student/user journey.
- Writing, editing, and proofreading original, high-quality content in various formats, including website copy, news articles, blog posts, video scripts, email newsletters, and social media posts.
- Collaborate with the Digital Campaign and Performance \& CRM Specialists to ensure content is optimised for engagement and conversion.
- Work with academic, recruitment and student services teams to identify and generate student success stories, testimonials, and faculty-led insights.
- Work closely with the business to establish and fulfil content requirements.
- Manage production of marketing collateral (brochures, flyers, presentations, etc.) in collaboration with design and external partners.
- Contribute to event communications, including pre-event promotion, live coverage, and post-event follow-up.
- Maintain a content calendar that integrates with campaign and recruitment timelines.
- Stay up to date with trends and best practices.
- Coordinate the collection of student testimonials for a range of purposes.
- Management of marketing collateral and promotional inventory.
- Provide marketing support to the team across all recruitment areas and work constructively with colleagues in a creative, collaborative, cross-departmental/cross-project environment.
- Other tasks as required to meet the demands of the business in accordance with company objectives.

Skills and Experience:
- Degree in Marketing, Communications, Journalism, or a related field.
- 3+ years’ experience in content creation and strategy across digital and print media.
- Excellent writing, editing, and storytelling skills.
- Experience with social media management tools and all social media platforms
- Experience with SEO principles and content management systems.
- Strong understanding of brand tone and audience engagement.
- Project management skills: Comfortable managing multiple projects with tight deadlines.
