ABOUT THE ROLE

The Accounts Receivable Manager is responsible for leading the Accounts Receivable (AR) function across the CA ANZ Group. Based in our Wellington office and reporting to the Manager Transactional Services, this role leads a team of approximately five and ensures the delivery of accurate, timely, and customer focused AR services.

You will provide strong people leadership, oversee end to end billing and collections, drive automation and process improvements, and use data driven insights to enhance efficiency and service outcomes.

Key responsibilities:

  • Lead and develop the AR team, fostering a collaborative and customer centric culture
  • Oversee the end to end AR function, including member subscriptions, non subscription billing, collections, refunds, and adjustments
  • Drive continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for process optimisation, automation, and system enhancement
  • Manage reporting and key metrics, using insights to monitor performance, manage risk, and drive improvement
  • Partner across the organisation, working closely with Finance, Member teams, and stakeholders on billing and AR matters
  • Ensure operational excellence, including database integrity, monthly processing, compliance, and service standards

ABOUT YOU

  • 5+ years’ experience managing Accounts Receivable functions with a strong record of accuracy and efficiency
  • Proven people leadership experience, with the ability to coach, motivate, and develop high performing teams
  • Strong understanding of billing, AR processes, and accounting principles
  • Highly analytical, with experience interpreting data to inform decisions and improvements
  • Experienced in process documentation, standardisation, and continuous improvement
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, high pressure environment
  • Experience with ERP systems; Salesforce and NetSuite experience is advantageous
