We are seeking a passionate and motivated individual to fill the role of Wildlife Research Associate / Senior Wildlife Research Associate. This position offers a unique opportunity to experience a broad scope involving airport wildlife management and environmental projects.
Your Responsibilities:
- Participate in field/ bird surveys and wildlife assessments.
- Collect, process, and analyse survey and environmental data to identify trends, support wildlife management decisions, and contribute to reporting and compliance requirements.
- Assist with the development and implementation of wildlife management plans, including habitat modification, deterrent techniques, and wildlife monitoring programs.
- Participate in regular site inspections and environmental audits to ensure compliance with environmental regulations and standards.
- Support initiatives involving internal stakeholders, regulatory agencies to address environmental impacts and promote environmental stewardship.
Our Requirements:
- Diploma in environmental and marine/biological science, environmental engineering, or a related field. Fresh graduates are welcome.
- Strong bird identification skills (by sight and, where possible, by calls).
- Posses a Singapore Class 3 Driving License.
- Reliable and detail-oriented individual with strong administrative skills.
- Basic knowledge in identifying local wildlife.
- Proficiency in GIS (Geographic Information Systems) software preferred. AutoCAD proficiency is advantageous.
- Basic understanding of EMMP processes and environmental regulations/guidelines are advantageous.
