Welder Fabricator

Key Responsibilities

• Perform welding on structural steel, pipes, and metal components using processes
• Read and interpret welding symbols, shop drawings, and fabrication drawings.
• Carry out fabrication, assembly, and welding of beams, columns, plates, brackets, and structural frames.
• Ensure weld quality meets project requirements and approved standards.
• Prepare joints by cleaning, grinding, cutting, and aligning materials before welding.
• Conduct repair welding and rework based on QC inspection feedback.
• Work with fitters and fabricators during assembly and installation activities.
• Follow instructions from supervisors and site engineers for welding tasks.
• Maintain welding machines, tools, and equipment in good working condition.
• Comply with all HSE regulations and use required PPE at all times.
• Assist QC inspectors during weld inspection
• Ensure proper handling and storage of welding consumables (electrodes, wires, gas cylinders).

Required Qualifications \& Skills

• Minimum 2–5 years of welding experience in construction or fabrication projects (UAE/GCC preferred).
• Valid welding certification
• Ability to perform different welding processes.
• Knowledge of structural steel and fabrication techniques.
• Ability to read and understand technical drawings and welding symbols.
• Physically fit and able to work in outdoor and high-elevation environments.
