As part of our continued growth, we are hiring an experienced Metal Fabricator Foreman through our UAE Headquarters to support manufacturing and project operations across the United Arab Emirates (UAE) and the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA).

Position Overview

The Metal Fabricator Foreman is responsible for supervising daily fabrication activities in the workshop, ensuring steel and architectural metal works are manufactured safely, accurately, and in accordance with project drawings and production schedules. The role involves leading fabrication teams, coordinating with Production Engineers and QA/QC personnel, and maintaining the highest standards of quality, productivity, and workplace safety.

Key Responsibilities

Workshop \& Fabrication Supervision

• Supervise daily fabrication activities for architectural steel, stainless steel, and metal works.
• Interpret fabrication drawings, shop drawings, and cutting lists to ensure accurate production.
• Allocate work to fabricators, welders, grinders, and fitters based on production priorities.
• Monitor fabrication progress and ensure production targets are achieved.

Production Coordination

• Coordinate with Production Engineers, Planning, QA/QC, and Stores to ensure smooth workflow.
• Verify material availability before commencing fabrication.
• Ensure completed components are ready for inspection and timely delivery to project sites.
• Resolve fabrication issues and recommend practical solutions to improve productivity.

Quality Control

• Ensure all fabricated components comply with approved drawings, project specifications, and company quality standards.
• Conduct dimensional checks and visual inspections before QA/QC inspections.
• Minimize rework through effective supervision and quality control.
• Ensure proper handling and protection of finished products.

Team Leadership

• Lead, train, and motivate fabrication teams to achieve productivity and quality goals.
• Monitor employee attendance, discipline, and performance.
• Promote teamwork and maintain a positive and safe working environment.
• Mentor junior fabricators and support skills development.

Health, Safety \& Housekeeping

• Enforce company Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) policies within the workshop.
• Ensure proper use of PPE and safe operation of fabrication equipment.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free work area.
• Report unsafe conditions, equipment faults, and incidents immediately.

Reporting

• Report daily production output, manpower utilization, and fabrication progress.
• Coordinate with management regarding production schedules and material requirements.
• Maintain fabrication records and assist with production planning.

Qualifications

• Technical Diploma, ITI, Trade Certificate, or equivalent qualification in Fabrication, Welding, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.

Experience

• Minimum 7–10 years of experience in architectural metal works, structural steel, stainless steel, or aluminum fabrication.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Foreman or Workshop Supervisor.
• Strong experience in construction, façade, or metal fabrication industries.
• UAE/GCC experience is highly preferred.
