Creative Style W.L.L. is seeking a skilled Draftsman to prepare detailed shop drawings, production drawings, and installation drawings for bespoke furniture, joinery, and interior fit-out projects. The ideal candidate will work closely with the Design, Estimation, Production, and Project teams to ensure all drawings are accurate, practical for manufacturing, and compliant with client specifications and industry standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare detailed shop drawings, fabrication drawings, and installation drawings for custom furniture, joinery, and interior fit-out projects.
- Develop production drawings, cutting lists, material schedules, and hardware specifications for factory use.
- Interpret architectural, structural, and interior design drawings to produce accurate manufacturing details.
- Coordinate with Designers, Estimators, Project Managers, and Production teams to resolve technical issues and ensure design feasibility.
- Revise drawings based on client, consultant, or site comments and maintain revision records.
- Ensure all drawings comply with project specifications, approved materials, and quality standards.
- Prepare CNC-ready drawings and coordinate with machine operators when required.
- Conduct site measurements and prepare as-built drawings when necessary.
- Assist the Procurement team by providing material quantities and technical information.
- Maintain organized records of drawings, revisions, and project documentation.
- Support the factory and site teams by providing technical clarification throughout project execution.
Qualifications \& Experience
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Drafting, Architecture, Interior Design, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum 3–5 years of experience in joinery, furniture manufacturing, or interior fit-out.
- Experience in preparing shop drawings for bespoke furniture and architectural joinery is essential.
Technical Skills
- Proficient in AutoCAD (Mandatory).
- Working knowledge of SketchUp and Microsoft Office.
- Knowledge of furniture construction methods, joinery details, and manufacturing processes.
- Ability to prepare production drawings, cutting lists, and material schedules.
- Familiarity with wood materials, veneers, laminates, solid surfaces, hardware, and finishing techniques.
- Experience with CNC production drawings is an advantage.
