Job Descriptions

As a Surveyor, you will play a critical role in ensuring the precision and accuracy of our infrastructure/marine construction projects. Your key responsibilities include:

• Execution: Conduct engineering surveying, setting out, and leveling on-site according to construction drawings and design plans.
• Data Collection \& Analysis: Perform pre-construction, ongoing, and post-construction survey measurements. Collect, calculate, and verify survey data.
• Instrument Maintenance: Set up, calibrate, and maintain survey instruments (such as Total Station, GPS, RTK, Levelling instruments, etc.) to ensure accurate performance.
• Collaboration: Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Site Engineers, and Subcontractors to resolve any alignment or boundary discrepancies on-site.
• Reporting: Prepare and submit accurate survey reports, drawings (AutoCAD), and calculations to the management and clients for approval.

Job Requirements

• Education: Candidate must possess at least a Diploma, Advanced/Higher/Graduate Diploma, or Bachelor's Degree in Land Surveying, Geomatics, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
• Experience:
• Minimum 2 to 5 years of working experience in infrastructure, civil engineering, or marine construction projects.
• Candidates with more experience will be considered for Senior Surveyor roles.
• Technical Skills:
• Proficient in operating modern surveying equipment (e.g., Total Station, RTK-GPS).
• Competent in AutoCAD and relevant survey calculation software.
• Languages: Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia. Ability to converse in Mandarin is a significant advantage (to coordinate with Mandarin-speaking teammates and stakeholders).
• Attributes: Willing to work on-site, detail-oriented, strong problem-solving skills, and a good team player.
• Possess own transport and a valid driving license (D/GDL).
