Role: ServiceNow Administrator

Job Description:
We are seeking an experienced ServiceNow Administrator to support a regulated market deployment, responsible for platform administration, stability, and operational excellence. The role will play a critical part in ensuring seamless ITSM operations, managing deployments, and driving automation across the ServiceNow ecosystem.
Key Responsibilities
Platform Administration & Governance
* Manage users, roles, groups, and access controls (ACLs)
* Maintain instance health through monitoring, upgrades, patching, and cloning
* Handle update set management and environment migrations (Dev/Test/Prod)
ITSM Operations & Support
* Provide L2/L3 support across Incident, Problem, Change, and Service Catalog
* Troubleshoot production issues, perform RCA, and ensure SLA compliance
* Drive continuous improvements in platform performance and stability )
Configuration, Customization & Automation
* Configure Business Rules, Client Scripts, UI Policies, Workflows / Flow Designer
* Customize forms, catalogs, and workflows aligned to business needs
* Automate manual processes to improve efficiency and turnaround time
Deployment & Release Management
* Support deployment planning and execution for releases and upgrades
* Ensure compliance with governance, security, and controlled deployment standards
* Maintain platform documentation and release artifacts
Reporting, Integration & Analytics
* Develop dashboards and reports to monitor KPIs (SLA, incidents, trends)
* Support integrations via REST/SOAP APIs and Integration Hub
* Enable data-driven decision-making through analytics
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong hands-on experience in ServiceNow Platform Administration
* Experience in deployment planning and execution
* Solid exposure to ITSM modules (Incident, Change, Problem, Service Catalog)
* Knowledge of scripting (JavaScript / Glide API preferred)
* Experience in update sets, workflows, and instance management
* Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
Qualifications & Certifications
* Bachelor’s degree in IT / Engineering or equivalent
* ServiceNow Certified System Administrator (CSA)– Mandatory
* Additional certifications (CIS-ITSM / CAD) – Preferred
Experience Profile
* 7–10 years overall IT experience
* 7–9 years of ServiceNow Administration experience
* Citizens preferred
Nice-to-Have
* Exposure to CMDB / ITOM / ITAM modules
* Experience with ServiceNow upgrades & platform migrations
* Familiarity with ITIL framework
* Experience working in regulated environments (AU markets)
