Senior Project Manager

We are actively searching for a Senior Project Manager to complement our skills and to take on challenging and exciting projects. The Senior Project Manager must have the ability to effectively collaborate with client, architects, interior designers, engineers, subcontractors and B\&V staff. The successful candidate will be extremely detail oriented and self-motivated. This is a full-time position.

Job Description

• Manage all aspects of Construction Management and General Contracting for commercial interiors, new ground-up construction and base building renovations
• Maintain robust relationships with client and consultants
• Understand the designer’s intent and figure out the best way to achieve it
• Understand the client’s goals and figure out the best way to achieve them
• Manage the project team including Project Coordinators and Project Assistants
• Collaborate with the Site Manager as a full and equal partner
• Develop client proposals and project cost estimates with Marketing and Business Development teams
• Manage and continually maintain the project Budget and Schedule
• Oversee insurance requirements, risk management and quality control
• Champion the B\&V Health and Safety Policies
• Continually foresee potential issues or conflicts and propose solutions
• Figure-out details and the best construction methods to achieve the designer’s goals
• Use Viewpoint Construction Management Software to track project budgets, contract administration and overall project progress
• Review shop drawing submittals

Experience Required

• Superior customer service \& understanding of the Art of Hospitality
• Minimum of 10 years of construction management experience
• Exceptional communication and organizational skills
• Energetic, positive and can-do attitude required
• Computer proficiency (MS Office, MS Project)
• Knowledge of local codes and subtrades
• Knowledge of sustainability programs including LEED would be an asset
• Architectural background an asset
• Valid driver’s license and vehicle required
