About this Position
What you´ll do
- Translate R\&D business needs into scalable technical solutions, working directly with domain experts and key stakeholders
- Lead end-to-end architectures for cloud-native applications – covering data flows, integration patterns, scalability, security, and operational excellence
- Collaborate closely with Product Owners and Product Management to shape product vision, refine requirements, and ensure alignment between business priorities and technical feasibility Lead and mentor team of developers, conduct design reviews, and guide teams in component-level decisions and best-practice adoption
- Design and evolve APIs (REST, GraphQL, event-driven) with strong focus on usability, stability, and backward compatibility
- Ensure security-by-design, including secure cloud patterns, container security, secrets management, OAuth 2.0 / OpenID
- Connect, and secure coding practices
- Drive proofs of concept for emerging cloud services, AI capabilities, integrations, and automation scenarios Work across the full technology stack: Single Page Applications, Web services \& APIs, Event-driven or microservice architectures, Cloud infrastructure (IaC, DevOps), Generative AI agents and workflow automation
- Ensure reliability, maintainability, observability, and operational excellence in production environments
What makes you a good fit
- Bachelor’s in Computer Science (or equivalent) with 5+ years of professional experience
- Strong curiosity and intrinsic motivation to continuously learn (technology, cloud, business, or scientific domains, and a strong sense of ownership
- Passion for developer experience and enabling teams to deliver high-quality software efficiently with solid experience with modern architecture \& DevOps (DDD, microservices/modular monoliths, CI/CD, IaC, Kubernetes)
- Hands-on development skills (TypeScript, Python) with deep cloud expertise (Azure, GCP) and secure API design (incl. OpenID Connect)
- Ability to operate across strategy and hands-on technical problem solving (“all flight levels”); R\&D experience is a plus
- Fluent in English
