About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Senior Consultant – Business Analyst (Data) to join our team in Doha, Qatar. The successful candidate will play a key role in delivering Data Governance, Data Quality, Data Warehousing, Business Intelligence (BI), and Modern Data Platform initiatives.

This role requires a strong background in business analysis, data management, reporting, analytics, and stakeholder engagement. You will work closely with business users and technical teams to gather requirements, define solutions, manage product backlogs, and ensure the successful delivery of data-driven business outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead business requirements gathering workshops, interviews, and stakeholder meetings.
• Analyze and document business, functional, and data requirements.
• Develop user stories, business specifications, and acceptance criteria.
• Manage and prioritize product backlogs and support Agile delivery processes.
• Collaborate with technical teams to define and validate BI, analytics, and data platform solutions.
• Support Data Warehouse, reporting, dashboarding, and self-service BI initiatives.
• Lead User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including planning, execution, and sign-off.
• Create test scenarios, test cases, and support quality assurance activities.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and delivery teams.
• Facilitate user training, change management, and solution adoption activities.
• Ensure project deliverables meet business objectives and stakeholder expectations.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science, Business Analytics, Information Systems, or a related field.
• Minimum 8 years of experience as a Business Analyst in Data Management, Business Intelligence, Analytics, or Data Warehousing projects.
• Strong understanding of:
• Business Intelligence (BI)
• Data Warehousing
• Data Governance and Data Quality
• Reporting and Dashboarding
• Data Storytelling and Self-Service Analytics
• Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and functional specifications.
• Hands-on experience with SQL queries.
• Advanced knowledge of BI tools, preferably Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience working in Agile and/or Waterfall project environments.
• Strong analytical, communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills.
• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
• Fluency in both Arabic and English is mandatory.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in Public Sector, Census, International Trade, Socio-Economic Analysis, or similar domains.
• Experience supporting enterprise-scale data and analytics transformation programs.
• Familiarity with modern data platforms and cloud-based analytics solutions.
