A Sales Engineer is responsible for promoting, marketing, and selling HDPE Pipes \& Fittings, Stainless Steel (SS) Pipes \& Fittings, and HDPE Welding Machines to customers in the construction, infrastructure, water distribution, industrial, oil \& gas, and MEP sectors. The role combines technical expertise with sales skills to provide effective piping solutions, develop new business opportunities, and maintain long-term customer relationships. The position also includes supply and installation works, repairing services, and fabrication activities related to piping systems and welding equipment.
Key Responsibilities
- Promote and sell HDPE pipes, fittings, SS pipes, fittings, butt fusion welding machines, electrofusion welding machines, and related accessories.
- Handle supply, installation, and maintenance of HDPE and SS piping systems and welding machines.
- Identify new business opportunities through customer visits, market research, and networking.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, consultants, project owners, distributors, and industrial clients.
- Prepare technical and commercial quotations, proposals, and tender submissions based on customer requirements.
- Review engineering drawings, specifications, and Bills of Quantities (BOQs) to recommend suitable products and solutions.
- Coordinate with procurement, warehouse, and logistics teams to ensure timely product delivery and site execution.
- Provide after-sales technical support, installation guidance, troubleshooting, and repair services.
- Monitor market trends, competitor activities, and new product developments to identify growth opportunities.
- Maintain accurate sales reports, customer records, sales forecasts, and project pipelines.
- Achieve assigned sales targets while ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction.
Required Skills
- Strong knowledge of HDPE piping systems, SS piping systems, and welding machine applications.
- Hands-on experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of piping systems and welding equipment.
- Knowledge of fabrication works and site execution activities.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
- Strong customer relationship management and problem-solving abilities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and CRM software.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple projects, and travel for customer visits and site work.
Qualification
- Bachelor's degree or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in technical sales, installation, supply, repair, and fabrication of HDPE pipes, SS pipes, fittings, welding machines, or related industrial products.
- Valid driving license is preferred for field and site-based responsibilities.

Pay: QAR5,000.00 - QAR6,000.00 per month
