Has a fantastic opportunity for an Electrician \& Fire Alarm Engineer to join our team in Billingham.

ELECTRICIAN / FIRE ALARM ENGINEER

We are seeking a qualified and experienced Electrician to join our team. This is a full-time, permanent employed position; however, we will consider a self-employed arrangement for the right candidate.

We offer a competitive hourly rate, a company van, pension contributions, and 28 days holiday including bank holidays. You'll be part of a supportive, professional team working on a wide range of projects across domestic, commercial, and industrial sectors.

The work will include

· Diagnose and repair faults on commercial electrical systems within multiple sites

· Electrical PPM

· Minor installations and upgrades to commercial electrical systems

· EICR's

· Use your knowledge of regs to complete all work and make recommendations in compliance with IEE wiring regs and NICEIC recommendations

· Completion of certification, reporting and client portal updating

This is a mobile role. Your days will be varied, and you will be undertaking a mixture of electrical works on varied sites. Some days will be testing; others call outs or planned repairs/refurbishment. You will travel across your area and mostly work alone. You will report to our operations team.

Essential Requirements

• Minimum 3 years' experience post qualification
• Level 3 NVQ Electrical Instillation qualification
• AM2 (Achievement Measurement 2)
• 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
• 2391 is essential, strong testing knowledge is required
• Current DBS check or willingness to undertake one
• Domestic electrical fault finding with demonstratable evidence
• Ability to complete all tasks to a high standard
• Strong work ethic and positive team attitude
• Reliable, professional, and able to work independently or within a team
• Full UK driving licence
• Demonstrate a “can do” attitude and be self-motivated

• Fire alarm systems certification
• Emergency Lighting
• Security alarms
• Door access system
• CCTV
• Supervisor / Management Experience

37.5 Hr per week + Callout + Overtime

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £17.00-£25.00 per hour

Work Location: In person
