Registered Pharmacist

Medicine Shoppe Stony Plain \& Travel Clinic needs FULL-TIME/ PART-TIME pharmacist . For right candidate we can discuss days that’s works well for you and business. This is a permanent position. Candidate Must have APA and willing to prescribe under a scope of Pharmacist. Knowledge of Travel vaccine required. Full-time registered Technician and assistant on site every day.

Overview

Staff Pharmacist permanent position (28-32 hour/week) and covering any holidays etc. Hours are during Monday to Friday 9 am to 6 pm, and every Saturday 10 am to 2 pm or minimum 2 Saturday of month depends on scheduling.

Possible Schedule for Part time/Full-time Pharmacist :

Wednesday 10 am to 6 pm

Thursday 10 am to 6 pm

Friday 10 am to 6 pm

Saturday 10 am to 2 pm ( 2 saturdays in month )

Job Description

Pharmacist duties include but are not limited to:

Dispensing of prescriptions

Patient counselling

Participation in professional programs with consumers and peers

Creating a positive working environment and a team-oriented atmosphere

working on medication reviews and other clinical services

Injections

Job Requirements

Candidates Should be

licensed to practice pharmacy in Alberta

Available to work on weekends and evenings

Experienced with Kroll software

Excellent communicators, have attention to details, organizational skills, Solid leadership, teamwork, and customer service skills

Self-directed and work well with others

Preference will be given to candidates with

previous retail pharmacy , Additional prescribing authorization and/or can administer drugs by injection
