Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Pharmacy Manager to oversee the daily operations of our pharmacy. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, managing pharmacy staff, and maintaining compliance with healthcare regulations. Responsibilities
- Lead and supervise pharmacy staff, fostering a positive and productive work environment.
- Oversee daily pharmacy operations, including dispensing medications accurately and efficiently.
- Ensure compliance with all legal, safety, and professional standards and regulations.
- Maintain accurate records of prescriptions, inventory, and staff schedules using IT systems.
- Provide exceptional customer service by addressing patient queries and offering medication counselling.
- Manage stock levels, order supplies, and oversee inventory control to minimise wastage.
- Develop and implement policies to improve workflow efficiency and service quality.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to optimise patient care outcomes.
- Train new staff members and support ongoing professional development within the team.
- Complete End of month duties as per Company procedures.
Experience
- Proven experience in a pharmacy setting with demonstrated leadership capabilities.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse clients.
- Proficiency in pharmacy IT systems and general computer literacy.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to liaise with patients, staff, and healthcare providers.
- Previous experience managing a team within a healthcare or retail environment is desirable but not essential. This role is ideal for a dedicated professional looking to advance their career in pharmacy management while making a meaningful impact on community health services.
