We are not just a paint store; we are an independent hub for premium residential coatings (MF Paints, PPG, Renner), designer wallpapers (York, Brewster), and custom window fashions. We pride ourselves on deep product knowledge, exact color matching, and honest, practical advice. We are looking for an energetic, detail-oriented Paint \& Decor Consultant to join our tight-knit Calgary team!

What You Will Do (Key Responsibilities):

• Customer Advisory: Greet and guide retail customers, interior designers, and professional contractors through product choices, matching their specific project needs with the right coatings or finishes.
• Color \& Design Guidance: Help clients bring their vision to life by advising on color coordination, wallpaper patterns, and custom window blind options.
• Paint Mixing \& Color Matching: Operate tinting machines and utilize specialized software to create precise, high-quality custom paint color matches for clients.
• Order Fulfillment: Answer phone inquiries, process transactions accurately at the POS terminal, and prepare orders for local contractors or in-store pickup.
• Inventory \& Showroom Care: Keep display areas clean, restock paint cans, brushes, and design books, and ensure the showroom looks inspiring for walk-in clients.

What We Are Looking For (Requirements):

• Experience: Previous retail experience in a paint store, home decor boutique, design showroom, or hardware store is highly preferred (experience with brands like Benjamin Moore or PPG is a major asset).
• Eye for Design: A natural affinity for interior design, color theory, or home staging.
• Customer First Attitude: Friendly, approachable, and eager to go above-and-beyond to solve a customer's unique DIY or contractor problem.
• Physical Capability: Ability to stand for extended periods and comfortably lift and carry paint cans up to 22 kg (50 lbs).
• Communication: Fluent verbal and written English skills to clearly explain technical product applications to customers.
