ROLE SUMMARY

The Information Technology Associate will be a key contributor to the administration, development, and support of QIA’s Oracle Fusion Cloud ecosystem. This role is inherently techno functional, requiring a deep understanding of business processes (Finance, HR, or Supply Chain) coupled with the technical expertise to build integrations, extend UI via VBCS, and manage automated workflows. You will ensure the stability, security, and evolution of Oracle Fusion as a core enterprise pillar, linking it seamlessly with our broader application estate.

KEY FUNCTIONS

• Technofunctional Support: Provide L2/L3 support for Oracle Fusion modules, balancing functional configuration with technical troubleshooting.
• Application Extension: Design and develop custom web and mobile applications using Oracle VBCS and Visual Builder Studio.
• Integration Engineering: Build and manage secure OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud) flows, REST/SOAP services, and FBDI/HDL data automations.
• Security \& Governance: Manage Oracle Security Consoles, job roles, data security policies, and SSO integrations via Entra ID.
• Reporting \& Analytics: Develop complex data models using BI Publisher, OTBI, and BICC for downstream consumption.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES (By Technology)Oracle Fusion Cloud (ERP/HCM/SCM)

• Functional Configuration: Manage Rapid Implementation tasks, functional setup manager (FSM), and sandbox management.
• Security Model: Design and audit custom job roles, duty roles, and security profiles following least-privilege principles.
• Automations: Configure BPM worklist approvals, alert composers, and guided journeys.
• Lifecycle Management: Manage quarterly update cycles, including regression testing, impact analysis, and new feature opt-ins.

VBCS \& Visual Builder Studio

• UI/UX Extension: Develop "App UI" extensions for Fusion pages and standalone bespoke applications using Oracle JET, JavaScript, and HTML5.
• Service Consumption: Integrate VBCS applications with Fusion REST APIs and external microservices.
• VBS Pipelines: Manage source control (Git) within Visual Builder Studio, including build and deployment pipelines for extensions.

Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC)

• Integration Patterns: Develop scheduled and app-driven orchestrations using OIC adapters (Oracle ERP, FTP, REST, SOAP).
• Data Mapping: Handle complex XSLT transformations, lookups, and fault handling frameworks.
• Connectivity: Manage OIC Connectivity Agents for secure communication between Oracle Cloud and on-premise databases or legacy systems.

Data \& Reporting

• Technical Extracts: Build SQL-based BI Publisher reports, eText templates for bank transmissions, and RTF layouts.
• Analytics: Create OTBI dashboards and subject area queries for real-time business insights.
• Data Loading: Manage mass data updates using HDL (HCM Data Loader), FBDI (File-Based Data Import), and Spreadsheet Data Loader.

OPERATIONS \& DEVOPS

• Environment Management: Own the P2T (Production to Test) refresh process, post-refresh configurations, and sandbox migrations.
• Observability: Monitor OIC runtime health, scheduled job success rates, and API performance using Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) logging.
• Documentation: Maintain RTM (Requirements Traceability Matrix), Technical Design Documents (TDD), and SOPs for functional workarounds.
• Incident Management: Lead Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for interface failures or system performance bottlenecks.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: Bachelor’s in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Engineering.
• Experience: 5–8+ years in Oracle Cloud (Fusion) environments in a technofunctional capacity.
• VBCS Expertise: Proven experience building extensions or standalone apps using Oracle VBCS and JavaScript.
• Technical Proficiency: Strong SQL and PL/SQL skills for data extraction and reconciliation.
• Integration Expertise: Hands-on experience with Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC) and REST/SOAP API standards.
• Security: Deep understanding of Oracle Cloud Security (RBAC) and Entra ID (Azure AD) SSO integration.
• Functional Knowledge: Familiarity with at least two core modules (e.g., General Ledger, Payables, Core HR, or Procurement).

NICE TO HAVE

• Oracle Cloud Certifications (OIC, VBCS, or Functional Essentials).
• Experience with OCI (Oracle Cloud Infrastructure) components like Functions or Object Storage.
• Knowledge of Python or Java for advanced custom automation.
• Experience with Power BI integration via Oracle BICC (Business Intelligence Cloud Connector).

Pay: QAR17,000.00 - QAR18,000.00 per month
