Responsibilities:
Managing large-scale Oracle database estates including TB-scale Exadata and Exadata Cloud@Customer (ExaCC) environments.
Hands-on administration of Oracle Exadata (On-Prem) and ExaCC, including: Infrastructure and VM Cluster awareness, Database lifecycle operations on ExaCC, Coordination with OCI \& Oracle Support for ExaCC incidents.
Installation, administration, patching, migration and upgrade of Oracle databases across Unix and Windows platforms.
Designing and implementing High Availability and DR solutions using RAC, Data Guard and GoldenGate on both Exadata and ExaCC platforms.
Hands-on experience with ASM/ACFS disk group management across Bare Metal, VM-based, Exadata and ExaCC deployments.
RMAN operations including backup, restore, refresh, clone, migration and upgrade (host-to-host, host-to-VM, Exadata to ExaCC).
Patch management and lifecycle planning for Oracle databases, Grid Infrastructure and Exadata/ExaCC platforms.
Expert knowledge of OEM monitoring for Exadata and ExaCC targets, including alerting, performance metrics and capacity tracking.
Performance tuning using AWR, ADDM, ASH, SQL Baselines, SQL Profiles, ExaCheck and advisory views, including Exadata-specific optimizations.
Implementing and periodically reviewing security, compliance and VAPT controls for databases hosted on Exadata and ExaCC.
Coordinating with Oracle Support and OCI teams for Sev-1 / Major Incidents on Exadata \& ExaCC.
Proactive performance analysis and recommendations to application and business teams.
Understanding of upstream/downstream systems – server, storage, network and virtualization layers.
Automation using shell and PL/SQL scripts; periodic validation of automation effectiveness.
SLA tracking, reporting and capacity planning for Exadata/ExaCC platforms.
Preparing and maintaining audit-ready SOPs for Oracle, Exadata and ExaCC operations.
Identifying, documenting and mitigating technology risks including ExaCC platform dependencies.
Mentoring L1/L2 DBAs on Oracle, Exadata and ExaCC operational best practices.
Providing on-call support for mission-critical databases

Requirements:
Certification – Oracle 11g/12c certified.
Strong database administration and troubleshooting skills.
Hands-on experience working in Global Customer environment.
Database Upgrades \& Migrations (On-Prem Exadata ExaCC · High availability (RAC) setup and administration.
Real time experience in handling Disaster recovery design, planning, setup and administration
Expert in Provisioning and decommissioning of Database including Instance/ASM/RAC/Grid Control/DataGuard/GoldenGate administration and monitoring tools.
OEM/OMS administration and Monitoring tools Configuration and management.
Automation through scripting.
Strong performance analysis on AWR, ADDM, SQL Profile, ASH RAC Check, EXA Check and advisory views.
Experience on OS, Storage, Network and Virtualization activities related to Database.
Exadata \& ExaCC Performance Optimization
Handled database estate of various technologies.
