The Spectrum Foundation and Spectrum Care Limited supports people with disabilities to live great lives in the community. With over 100 sites across the Auckland, Hamilton, Tauranga, Whangarei and Wellington regions, we provide a wide range of services for disabled people of all ages and their families.
Due to internal movement an opportunity has arisen for a hardworking and enthusiastic person to join our recruitment team. 'Hard working' is important because our small team of recruiters deal with a large number of vacancies and applicants. 'Enthusiasm' is another essential attribute because we can't rely solely on traditional recruitment methods. We also have to reach out to new markets, including a younger generation, to find the support staff our customers need. That means leveraging social media and coordinating promotional and marketing events.
This is a busy role but your efforts will make a huge difference for New Zealanders with disabilities and their whānau. Every month, we recruit employees to fill a variety of roles such as support workers, managers, and clinical and administrative staff. The successful applicant will form strong business relationships with our internal customers, especially hiring managers.
Some of the day to day tasks include:
As well as a strong interest in developing a recruitment career, you will have exceptional organisational skills, enthusiasm for harnessing social media and networking to achieve results, and the capacity to work in a fast-paced environment. Previous experience with Snaphire is an advantage.
This role could be suited to a graduate with administration experience or someone with previous administration experience looking to get into the internal recruitment space.
You will enjoy taking ownership of your role, getting on with things and being an integral part of a very busy team of recruiters delivering talent solutions to the larger business.
If you have a genuine interest in the work we do in the disability sector and want to make a difference in the lives of others, apply now!
