Key Responsibilities

As Night Auditor, you'll be a key part of our overnight team, keeping our guests looked after and our books balanced. You'll:

• Anticipate and attend to guests' needs immediately, offering a warm welcome and farewell as they arrive and depart.
• Check guests in and out efficiently and in line with hotel procedures, processing daily transactions and accounts accurately.
• Ensure all accommodation, food, beverage and miscellaneous revenue is properly posted, and all payments are correctly recorded.
• Complete the night audit process thoroughly and accurately, identifying any discrepancies between revenue and payments.
• Be totally conversant with the hotel's computer system as it relates to night audit functions, and complete first review of tasks in Tyalls.
• Respond to guest comments and complaints with tact, diplomacy and urgency.
• Maintain consistent communication with the Night Manager throughout the shift.
• Work with Housekeeping, Reservations and Maintenance to ensure rooms are ready for arriving guests.
• Complete all assigned opening and closing duties and maintain a clean, safe working environment.

What You'll Bring

• Previous experience in a Front Office, night audit or hotel accounts role is preferred.
• Strong numerical and administrative accuracy, with confidence using hotel systems for cashiering and audit functions.
• A genuine passion for guest service, with the composure to handle the unexpected overnight.
• The availability to work night shifts on a part time basis.
• Excellent communication skills and a calm, detail-focused approach under pressure.
