Mathematics & Math Olympiad Tutor

We are looking for a passionate and experienced

Primary Mathematics \& Math Olympiad Tutor

to conduct

1-to-1 lessons

for primary school students in Singapore.

Responsibilities

Conduct personalised 1-to-1 Primary Mathematics lessons

Teach Mathematics enrichment and Olympiad concepts

Develop students’ problem-solving, logical thinking and mathematical reasoning skills

Improve accuracy, question analysis and checking habits

Prepare suitable students for competitions such as SASMO, RMO, NMOΣ and SMOPS/APMOPS

Provide regular feedback on students’ progress

Requirements

Strong understanding of the

Singapore Primary Mathematics curriculum

Experience teaching Primary School Mathematics

Familiar with

Math Olympiad / Competition Mathematics

Able to teach confidently in

English

Patient, engaging and able to adapt lessons to individual students

Strong focus on conceptual understanding and problem-solving

Preferred

Degree or strong academic background in Mathematics, Engineering, Science or related fields

Experience coaching students for recognised Mathematics competitions

Experience with Mathematics DSA or NUS High preparation is an advantage

Position

Part-time / Freelance

Weekday afternoons and/or weekends

Competitive hourly rate based on experience
