IB Year 8 & 9 Mathematics Tutor

We are looking for an experienced

Mathematics Tutor

to provide 1-to-1 tuition for students in

Year 8 and Year 9 at Dover Court International School (DCIS), Singapore

.

The tutor should be familiar with the

British Curriculum

and able to support students with their current school curriculum while building a strong foundation for

IGCSE Mathematics

.

Key Responsibilities

Provide 1-to-1 Mathematics tuition for Year 8 and Year 9 students

Follow and complement the DCIS Mathematics curriculum

Review schoolwork, assignments and assessment results

Identify learning gaps and strengthen core concepts

Develop mathematical reasoning and problem-solving skills

Prepare students for school assessments and future IGCSE Mathematics

Provide regular feedback on student progress

Requirements

Strong academic background in Mathematics, Engineering, Science or related field

Experience teaching/tutoring secondary school Mathematics

Familiarity with

British Curriculum / KS3 / IGCSE

IGCSE Mathematics teaching experience preferred

International school teaching/tutoring experience is an advantage

Able to teach confidently in English

Patient, responsible and able to explain concepts clearly

Preferred

Current/former international school teachers, PGCE/QTS-qualified teachers, or experienced tutors who have taught students from

DCIS or other British international schools in Singapore

.
