We are seeking an experienced, strategic IT Governance professional to join a dynamic corporate team based at a prime location in Kuala Lumpur. This critical, high-impact role focuses on building, refining, and implementing technology standards, governance structures, and robust IT policies completely from the ground up.

As a Manager / Assistant Manager of Technology Standards \& Policies, you will act as a core subject matter expert, safeguarding the organization’s technology architecture while designing frameworks that support modern, cutting-edge technical landscapes (including AI governance).

Key Responsibilities \& Duties

• Security Framework Leadership: Lead critical corporate security compliance initiatives, focusing heavily on the end-to-end implementation and maintenance of PCI-DSS and ISO 27001 frameworks.
• Policy Architecture \& Creation: Draft, develop, and update comprehensive technology standards and policies from scratch, including pioneering policies covering cutting-edge domains like Artificial Intelligence (AI) governance.
• Information Governance: Implement, manage, and mature information classification frameworks and internal documentation standards across the enterprise.
• Vendor \& Access Risk Management: Manage third-party access control systems and govern vendor compliance relationships to mitigate external infrastructure risk.
• Audit \& Remediation Management: Collaborate closely with internal and external auditors on scheduled assessments, drive remediation efforts, and track control improvements.

Qualifications \& Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or a highly related technical field.
• Professional Experience: Minimum of 5 years of hands-on experience specifically dedicated to IT compliance, governance, risk management, and standards infrastructure.
• Technical Mastery: Strong, practical, and hands-on understanding of PCI-DSS and ISO 27001 requirements, deployment pipelines, and controls.
• Communication: Exceptional, authoritative English communication and technical writing skills, with a proven track record of drafting clear, legally robust corporate policies.
• Preferred Certifications: Professional credentials such as CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, or specific ISO/PCI-DSS Lead Implementer/Auditor certifications are highly advantageous and preferred.
