The primary purpose of this position is to provide care to animals in the kennel service according to the direction of the owners and/or in the best interest of the well-being of the animal.
The primary duties of this position include, but are not limited to:
May be exposed to strong odors, feces, urine, animal hair, blood, scratches and bites during normal handling of animals. May also be exposed to parasites and contagious disease.

Qualifying Experience:* Must have previous animal care experience such as experience working in a kennel, grooming facility, or veterinary clinic. * Ability to operate small hand tools and lawn mower. * Must be able to follow simple oral instructions and ability to handle various animals safely. * Must be able to maneuver and pick up animals in order to evaluate health and to groom them. * Must follow instructions provided by owners, manager and/or veterinarian
