Junior Project Manager

We are seeking a full-time Junior Project Manager. This position is ideal for someone looking to build a long-term career in luxury residential furniture, millwork, and project management. The role will begin as a highly collaborative support position working directly alongside our project managers, with a clear path toward managing projects independently over time.

This is an in-person position based out of our Royal Oak studio and workshop.

Vogue Furniture is a family run custom furniture and architectural millwork company specializing in high-end residential projects throughout the country. Our team includes designers, project managers, draftspeople, builders, finishers, metalsmiths, and installers all working collaboratively under one roof.

Our projects range from fully custom kitchens, closets, libraries, and architectural millwork packages to one-of-a-kind furniture pieces for homes across Michigan, California, Florida, Colorado, New York, and beyond.

Roles \& Responsibilites

This role is perfect for someone who is highly organized, curious, motivated, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. This role will support our project management team in all aspects of project coordination and execution, including:

• Preparing client proposals, bids, and presentation documents
• Assisting with general day-to-day project management operations
• Placing, tracking and checking in orders for items related to our custom residential projects
• Drafting and responding to project-related emails
• Assisting with meeting preparation and follow-up
• Organizing project files, drawings, and specifications
• Communicating with vendors, trades, and clients
• Strong computer skills (Photoshop/InDesign/Illustrator are a plus)
• Labeling and organizing materials for projects as they arrive
• Running errands (to our industry colleagues offices, clients homes, suppliers, etc)
• Occasional light marketing tasks, like placing ads in local magazines, submitting projects for awards, updating our website/portfolio, assisting with SM.

Over time, this individual will begin taking on increasing project responsibility with the goal of growing into a full Project Manager role. Who We're Looking For

Experience in interior design, architecture, furniture, construction, or project coordination is a plus, but not required.

Requirements

• Strong organizational and communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Workspace
• Ability to work in-person full-time in Royal Oak
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation

Experience with any of the following is a plus:

• Adobe InDesign / Photoshop
• AutoCAD or familiarity with drawings
• TeamGantt, or project management software
• Luxury residential construction or interiors
