Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of hair styling services including cuts, color, treatments, and styling according to client preferences.
• Deliver exceptional customer service by understanding client needs and providing personalized recommendations.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation of all tools, equipment, and workstations in compliance with health regulations.
• Upsell retail products such as shampoos, conditioners, styling tools, and treatments to enhance client satisfaction and salon revenue.
• Manage front desk responsibilities including scheduling appointments, greeting clients, and handling payments.
• Communicate effectively with clients to ensure their expectations are met or exceeded.
• Build strong relationships with clients to encourage repeat business and referrals.
• Stay updated on the latest hair trends and techniques through ongoing education and training.

Requirements

• Proven experience in hair styling or cosmetology preferred; relevant certifications or licenses required.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to connect with clients in a friendly and professional manner.
• Knowledge of sanitation standards and safety procedures within a salon environment.
• Excellent communication skills for effective interaction with clients and team members.
• Ability to upsell retail products tactfully while maintaining a focus on client needs.
• Experience with retail sales and front desk operations is a plus.
• A positive attitude, professional appearance, and team-oriented mindset are essential for success in this role.

Pay: $18.00-$20.00 per hour
