Duties

• Assist senior stylists with hair styling, coloring, to ensure smooth service delivery
• Prepare clients for treatments by washing, conditioning, and setting up tools and products
• Maintain salon sanitation standards by cleaning stations, tools, and equipment regularly
• Support with retail sales by recommending products such as hair care, styling tools, and accessories to clients
• Manage front desk responsibilities including appointment scheduling using salon software like MINDBODY and greeting clients warmly
• Help with store management tasks such as inventory checks and restocking supplies to keep the salon organized
• Provide exceptional customer service by addressing client inquiries, offering consultations, and ensuring a positive experience

Qualifications

• Previous experience working in the beauty industry or related customer service roles is preferred but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
• Basic understanding of hair coloring, hair styling techniques, and sanitation protocols in a salon setting
• Familiarity with hair services, makeup application, and nail care is advantageous
• Strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and team members
• Ability to perform retail math for upselling products confidently and accurately
• Cosmetology or barbering certification or enrollment in relevant training programs is desirable

Pay: $11.00 - $15.00 per hour
