Booth Rent Stylist

We are seeking a talented and motivated Booth Rent Stylist to join our high-traffic salon located in South Lake Union. This independent contractor opportunity offers the flexibility to manage your own schedule while providing exceptional hair and beauty services to a diverse and loyal clientele.

We offer free parking for both clients and stylists, a professional and supportive environment, and access to top-tier salon brands including Color Wow, Kevin Murphy, R+Co, and Davines. Our salon uses Vagaro for booking and calendar management to help streamline your business operations.

The ideal candidate is passionate about hairstyling, client experience, and retail sales, with a strong foundation in cosmetology or barbering. This is a great opportunity to grow your business in a collaborative and creative space.

Responsibilities

• Provide expert hair services including cutting, coloring, and styling tailored to client preferences
• Perform specialized treatments such as hair extensions and other advanced services (if offered)
• Maintain high standards of sanitation and cleanliness in accordance with state health regulations
• Utilize Vagaro for appointment scheduling, client management, and retail tracking
• Deliver exceptional customer service and build long-term client relationships
• Recommend and retail professional hair care products to enhance client results
• Stay current with industry trends, techniques, and continuing education

Qualifications

• Active cosmetology or barbering license
• Proven experience in hairstyling with a strong portfolio
• Confidence in color theory, cutting, and styling techniques
• Strong communication and client retention skills
• Knowledge of retail sales and product recommendations
• Professional, self-motivated, and business-minded
