GRAPHIC DESIGNER, VISUAL PRESENTATION

This position is a 1-year contract to cover a maternity leave.

Purpose of the role

The incumbent will deliver graphic design projects for the Visual Presentation department. They will support day-to-day operations and oversee the planning and coordination of all activities and requirements related to Bikini Village signage.

Job description

• Design, create and produce materials for seasonal advertising campaigns (window posters, in-store and external signage, grand-opening barricades, etc.), aligned with the brand’s positioning;
• Prepare files for prepress production;
• Create mock-ups for all seasonal graphic elements;
• Support quality control in collaboration with the Marketing team;
• Take part in brainstorming sessions related to creative concepts;
• Contribute to the development and evolution of the brand image;
• Support the search for partners and suppliers;
• Build and maintain strong business relationships with partners and suppliers to maximize their contribution to projects and the company;
• Coordinate and follow up with various suppliers;
• Ensure ongoing communication between suppliers and project stakeholders;
• Develop and apply methods to ensure productivity, quality control, and adherence to objectives and deliverables;
• Perform any other related tasks.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design (or equivalent);
• 3–5 years of experience in a similar role;
• Strong proficiency in Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Excel, and comfortable working in both Mac and PC environments;
• Basic prepress knowledge required;
• Fluency in French and English (spoken and written); The candidate must be able to communicate outside of Quebec
• Retail experience (an asset);
