GIS Content Editor

Job Description
We are seeking a GIS Content Editor to manage, review, and maintain geographic information system (GIS) data and mapping content, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and quality across digital mapping platforms.

Responsibilities

• Edit, update, and maintain GIS datasets and mapping content.
• Review geographic data for accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Perform quality assurance checks on maps and spatial information.
• Research and validate geographic and location-based data sources.
• Generate reports and documentation related to GIS content updates.
• Collaborate with technical teams to improve mapping and data processes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Geography, GIS, Geomatics, Environmental Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Experience with GIS software and spatial data management.
• Knowledge of mapping principles, geographic data standards, and cartography.
• Strong attention to detail and data quality management skills.
• Proficiency in data analysis, spreadsheets, and reporting tools.
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities.

Pay: ﷼115,000.00 per year
