About the PositionWe seek a dynamic and experienced Food, Safety and Quality Manager to join our team in Turkey. As the FSQ Manager, you will play a critical role in guaranteeing safe and compliant products right first time every time direct from the line to the customer/consumer. This is a people manager role with direct reporting to the BU FSQ Director. Key AccountabilitiesImplement the global food safety and quality vision, goals, strategies, and measures in line with the Global corporate strategy and the individual business unit strategies ensuring the active engagement of all employees and other key stakeholders in the area of influence Provide leadership, direction, and management of food safety and regulatory compliance within the factory. Work very closely with the cross-functional teams and be the right hand of the Site Manager on such decisions that are paramount to Ensure Supply. The role will need to work closely with internal and external factory operational quality, supply chain quality management, regulatory compliance, scientific services, quality systems and consumer services as well as R\&D. Ensure deployment, implementation, and ongoing monitoring of the key business metrics related to FSQ Continuously improve and maintain food safety mindset and quality standards across the factory and beyond Identify and execute food safety and quality improvement opportunities and projects to minimise risk, and cost, and support the company’s business plans and strategic objectives for the factory Directly manage all the food safety and quality incidents including product recalls, withdrawals, and serious incidents. Should be close support to the Head of FSQ EAST in such matters Direct the business and enforce decisions on the quarantining and disposal of defective goods Ensure manufacturing processes can produce products within specification. Ensure KHMS standards are complied with to Ensure crisis management systems are in place including appropriate mock recall and product traceability processes. Forge partnerships between functions including Commercial and Operations Assure food safety and quality of new products and process innovations by developing and enforcing appropriate validation protocols Ensure compliance with all relevant international and local food laws. This needs to be led by Legal teams however, this position will need to be actively associated with this Be part of the Zone FSQ Leadership team and attend relevant team meetings. Continue to learn and share best practices Be a key strategic partner for Factory Operations as well as Head of Quality EAST Ensure management third-party audits related to Quality RequirementsFood / Dairy Technologist / Engineer with more than 10 years of hands-on experience in Manufacturing, R\&D or Quality Ability to risk assess and make decisions Work as a Team, team routines, engage withpeers' and stakeholders, absorbs feedback to improve.
