Ventia has over 35 years experience working with Defence and has been delivering Firefighting Services for 26 years. With a new contract awarded in 2024 for 6 years and up to two additional 2 year extentions - now is the time to join Ventia’s dedicated Fire Services Team. We are currently seeking a Firefighter to join the Fire and Rescue operations in Nowra.
About the role
This exciting position will see you work as part of a team of Firefighters who are responsible for responding to incidents including airfield, structural and bushfire management.
You will perform duties as directed by the Station & Sub Station Officers including but not limited to:

To be eligible for this role, you must be able to obtain and maintain a Defence Security Clearance up to a level of negative vetting 1 (secret). As a result of this requirement the incumbent must be an Australian Citizen, be able to pass an Australian Federal Police check and the ability to successfully pass a CASA Basic Class 2 pre-employment medical.

PUA20622 Certificate II in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
PUA30619 Certificate III in Public Safety (Firefighting and Emergency Operations)
Hold a current HR drivers' licence
