Job Title: ELV Engineer – Fire Fighting \& Fire Alarm (QCDD Approved)

Role Overview
Seeking a QCDD-approved ELV Engineer with hands-on experience in Fire Alarm and Fire Fighting Systems within the Oil \& Gas sector. Responsible for design review, site execution, testing \& commissioning, and securing QCDD authority approvals for hazardous and non-hazardous facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Engineering \& Design: Review shop drawings, SLDs, and cause-and-effect matrix for Fire Alarm (FAS), Clean Agent, Deluge, and VESDA systems per QCDD, NFPA, and ATEX/IECEx standards.
- Site Execution: Oversee installation, cabling, field devices, and panel integration in hazardous zones following strict HSE and PTW protocols.
- Testing \& Approval: Lead T\&C, perform cause-and-effect functional tests, and direct QCDD inspections to obtain final approval certificates.
- Integration: Coordinate ELV, Fire Systems, BMS, and Central Control Room (CCR) integration.
Requirements
- Education: Mechanical engineering or Mechatronincs
- Certification: Valid QCDD Engineer Approval (Mandatory). UPDA/MMUP card preferred.
- Experience: 5+ years in ELV/Fire Systems, with at least 3 years in Oil \& Gas / Energy facilities.
- Standards: Strong knowledge of NFPA (72, 10, 11, 13, 15, 2001) and Qatar Civil Defence regulations.
- Systems: Fire Alarm (Notifier, Honeywell, Siemens), Gas \& Flame Detection, Clean Agent/Deluge, CCTV, and PAGA.
Pay: QAR9,000.00 - QAR10,000.00 per month
