Job Summary
The Senior Executive – Accounts Payable (Imports \& Exports) will manage import and export accounting activities, including supplier invoice processing, landed cost calculations, trade documentation, reconciliations, and VAT-related activities. The role ensures accurate accounting and proper control of import/export transactions.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinating with logistics and third-party clearance teams to obtain supporting documents, tax invoices, and customs-related documents.
- Preparing third-party clearing cost calculations and processing local purchase invoices related to imports.
- Processing clearing charge payments and related adjustment entries for import supplier payments.
- Processing purchase invoices, sales orders, and sales invoices for assigned trading entities.
- Following up with logistics teams to ensure document status updates and proper coordination with Procurement and Treasury teams.
- Performing supplier account reconciliations and preparing adjustment entries for assigned transactions.
- Preparing VAT reconciliation reports for all group companies.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Experience in Accounts Payable, Import/Export Accounting, or Trading Companies preferred.
- Knowledge of supplier reconciliation, VAT, and landed cost accounting.
- Proficiency in ERP systems and MS Excel.
- Strong attention to detail and documentation management skills.
