About the Role
Based in Rydalmere NSW and reporting to the Customer Service Manager, this role is central to delivering a high-quality customer experience across our national customer base. You will work closely with Account Managers, operations, and the warehouse team to ensure orders are processed accurately, customers are kept informed, and service levels remain consistently high. As our Australian operations continue to grow, your experience will help strengthen customer relationships and lift service capability across the business.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with the Account Managers and operations team ensuring timely delivery of products and services with customer orders.
- Maintain and update customer information in the company’s database.
- Process customer orders accurately and efficiently.
- Assist with inbound customer inquiries, including pricing, freight charges, stock availability, freight delays, stock returns, and sample coordination.
- Amend customer orders as required.
- Manag communication with customers regarding order updates and any changes or delays.
- Provide general office support.
- Liaise with the commercial team about new or potential customers and opportunities.
- Coordinate with the warehouse on any order changes.
- Acquire knowledge of IP’s product and service offerings and competitor products.
- Build and maintain customer relationships.
- Participate in customer service training and attend company meetings
What You’ll Bring
- 3–5 years of experience in customer service, sales support, or order management, ideally within ingredients, manufacturing, FMCG, wholesale, or distribution environments.
- Confidence managing a high volume of customer interaction while maintaining accuracy, responsiveness, and attention to detail.
- Experience using ERP systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office in a fast-paced business setting.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to build credibility and rapport with customers and internal stakeholders.
- Excellent organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities across orders, enquiries, and follow-up actions.
- A proactive, solutions-focused mindset and a genuine commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
- The ability to work independently while contributing positively to a collaborative team culture.
- An interest in building a long-term career pathway into commercial or supply chain roles.
