Some of the available positions are a maternity relief position and should the permanent incumbent require an early return from maternity leave, this contract of employment will cease with two weeks notice. Maternity relief positions can be for a period of up to 12 months, with the possibility of continued employment for up to a further 12 months for maternity leave reduced hours, therefore there are no claims to permanency.

We are offering several permanent and temporary positions.
About the Opportunity
In this Rotational Pharmacist role, you will work across the District at both Gosford and Wyong Hospitals, Monday to Friday, working 8-hour shifts allocated between 7:30am to 5:30pm.
This position provides vital clinical and operational pharmacy services across various areas such as inpatient wards, dispensary, manufacturing, cancer care, Hospital-in-the-Home, clinical trials, and distribution, helping to optimise medication use and support patient flow throughout CCLHD.
You will be responsible for reviewing, dispensing, compounding, and checking medications, ensuring their safe and timely delivery within professional and ethical standards. Supporting pharmacy assistants and technicians, you’ll help maintain efficient medication supply while contributing to quality medicine use by evaluating therapies and applying evidence-based guidelines. Active participation in continuing professional development, education programs, and practice-based research will also be key parts of your role.
Collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and clear communication are essential as you work alongside clinicians, students, and support staff to deliver excellent, patient-centered pharmacy care. If you’re looking for a varied and rewarding pharmacy role, we’d love to hear from you.
