Casual Bartender

The Hollywood Hotel is looking for an experienced casual bartender to join our team.

We're an independent late-night pub and live music venue in Surry Hills, part retro dive bar, part local institution. We're seeking someone confident behind the bar, great with people, and able to handle busy services without losing their cool.

This is not an entry-level role.

We need someone who:
- has solid bartending experience in pubs, bars, or late-night venues
- knows how to pour beer properly and move quickly under pressure
- is genuinely personable and great with customers
- can hold their own in a fast-paced environment
- is reliable, proactive and is queer friendly and respectful of all staff and guests
- wants to be a part of a venue with personality, history, music and community

Availability:
- Tuesday - Thursday shifts generally 3pm-11:30pm
- Friday - Saturday shifts between 3pm-3:30am
- MUST be available Friday and Saturday nights
- MUST be comfortable working late night closes until 3:30am

Hours:
- approximately 24-30 hours a week

RSA required.
Cocktail experience is a bonus, but strong pub/bar experience is more important.

Pay: $28.00 – $38.00 per hour
