We are looking for a Business Development Specialist to drive project pipeline growth, strengthen ecosystem partnerships, and unlock new business opportunities across the electrical solutions landscape.
You’ll make an impact by: Driving Ecosystem Engagement \& Influence: Build and maintain strong relationships across the project ecosystem, including End-Users, Specifiers, Contractors, and Project Delivery Partners (PDPs). * Developing Project Pipeline \& Pre-Sales Opportunities: Proactively identify, track, and develop project opportunities to build a sustainable and high-quality sales pipeline. * Maximizing Post-Sales Business Potential: Follow up on project execution, delivery, and customer satisfaction to generate repeat business and additional opportunities. * Owning Partner Account Management: Manage and develop PDP accounts to ensure strong pipeline visibility, accurate sales forecasting, and consistent stock availability. * Enhancing Partner Sales Capabilities: Support PDPs in strengthening their internal sales competencies to improve overall business performance. * Driving Competitive Market Positioning: Analyze competitor activities, pricing trends, and market developments to identify strategic opportunities. * Expanding Business Opportunities Across Projects: Leverage project insights and stakeholder networks to influence specifications and increase win rates. * Strengthening Commercial Execution Discipline: Ensure consistent follow-through across pre- and post-sales activities to maximize project conversion and delivery success. Your defining qualities: Relevant Industry Experience: You bring at least 2+ years of experience in sales or business development, preferably within the electrical, power distribution, or project-based industries. * Electrical / Technical Background: You have a background or understanding in electrical engineering, electrical products, or low voltage solutions, enabling you to engage effectively in technical discussions. * Ecosystem Expertise: You have experience working with Specifiers, Contractors, and Project Delivery Partners across the full project lifecycle. * Pipeline Development Strength: You demonstrate a strong ability to identify, create, and manage project-based sales opportunities. * Strategic Communication: You are confident in delivering presentations and training to stakeholders at all levels, including senior management. * Influencing \& Negotiation Skills: You possess strong persuasion and stakeholder management capabilities to drive business outcomes. * Independent Execution: You are self-driven, able to work independently, and maintain effective coordination with internal teams and management. * Customer-Centric Mindset:** You are service-oriented and committed to building long-term partnerships with key stakeholders.
