PC Well Being Limited, based in Highland Park, Auckland, is a family doctor clinic. We are currently seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Bookkeeper to join our team.

You will be based at our clinic in Highland Park, Auckland. This is a permanent full-time position, with a guaranteed minimum of 30 hours per week, typically from Monday to Friday. Depending on business needs, hours may extend up to 45 hours per week.

The hourly pay rate ranges from $28 to $33, depending on the candidate’s skills and experience.

Job Description for This Position

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date financial records using accounting software and internal systems

  • Manage day-to-day bookkeeping functions, including recording income, expenses, and payments related to clinic operations

  • Monitor cash flow and assist in managing the clinic’s financial position and expenditure

  • Prepare invoices, process payments, and manage accounts receivable and payable

  • Reconcile accounts, including monthly bank statements, to ensure accuracy and completeness

  • Prepare and assist in producing financial reports, budgets, and expenditure analyses for management review

  • Verify financial transactions and identify discrepancies, reporting any irregularities to management

  • Assist with GST returns and ensure compliance with relevant tax obligations

  • Maintain organised financial documentation and ensure confidentiality of patient-related financial information

  • Liaise with external accountants and support end-of-year financial reporting

Key Requirements for Successful Applicants:

  • Either have at least 2 years of relevant bookkeeping experience, or a relevant qualification (Level 4 or above) in accounting or a related field

  • Speaking an Asian language (such as Chinese, Thai, or Vietnamese, etc) is a bonus, as we work with a wide range of Asian clients and team members.

  • Strong computer skills, including use of common software inclusive Microsoft Office.

  • Self-motivated and being positive in team attitude towards the role and colleagues.

  • Punctual and reliable with a positive can-do attitude will be key in this role.
