Bartender and Server

Overview
We are seeking a friendly and professional Bartender and Server to join our dynamic hospitality team. This role involves providing exceptional guest service, preparing and serving beverages and food, and ensuring a welcoming atmosphere for all patrons. Ideal candidates will have experience in food service and a passion for hospitality, with strong skills in customer interaction, food handling, and efficient order management. Responsibilities

• Take orders accurately from guests, ensuring prompt and courteous service
• Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages using POS systems such as Micros POS
• Serve food items efficiently while maintaining high standards of food safety and sanitation
• Manage cash handling and cashiering duties with accuracy, including basic math calculations for bills and tips
• Upsell menu items to enhance guest experience and increase sales opportunities
• Maintain cleanliness of the bar area, dining space, and service stations in compliance with sanitation standards
• Assist in food preparation when necessary, supporting kitchen staff to ensure timely service
• Manage time effectively during busy periods to serve multiple tables efficiently
• Provide guest services that promote a positive dining experience, including addressing guest inquiries and resolving issues promptly

Requirements

• Previous experience in food service or restaurant environment preferred, especially in serving or bartending roles
• Familiarity with POS systems such as Micros POS is highly desirable
• Strong customer service skills with a focus on guest satisfaction
• Knowledge of food safety, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures
• Ability to manage time efficiently during high-volume periods
• Basic math skills for cashiering, billing, and cash handling tasks
• Excellent communication skills and a friendly demeanor
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism
• Prior experience with food preparation or kitchen operations is a plus
• Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, or holidays as needed within the hospitality industry

Pay: $15.70-$17.00 per hour
