Key Responsibilities Customer Experience
- Greeting customers upon arrival
- Assisting guests with waivers, lockers, team names, and pre-game requirements
- Conducting safety briefings
- Introducing guests to their chosen escape room experience
- Monitoring games and providing hints while maintaining immersion and theme
- Creating a professional, welcoming, and entertaining experience throughout the game
- Debriefing groups at the completion of their experience
- Taking and editing team photographs
- Farewelling guests and encouraging repeat visits
Bar Operations
- Serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages in accordance with RSA requirements
- Delivering friendly and efficient bar service
- Maintaining the cleanliness, presentation, and organisation of the bar area
- Restocking bar supplies and monitoring stock levels
- Assisting with opening and closing bar procedures
Venue Operations
- Room resets between sessions
- General cleaning and presentation of the venue, including the bar and common areas
- Monitoring room quality and functionality
- Minor room repairs and troubleshooting
- Maintaining equipment and reporting maintenance requirements
- Ensuring games are ready to run on schedule
Position Details
- Casual position
- Approximately 10–15 hours per week
- Weekend availability is essential
- Additional availability during school holiday periods is highly desirable
- Applicants must be 18 years of age or older
- Current RSA or willingness to obtain one before commencing employment is necessary
