Barista/Cashier

About the Role

We're looking for a friendly, energetic, and passionate Barista to join our team. You'll be responsible for preparing high-quality coffee and beverages, delivering excellent customer service, and maintaining a clean and welcoming café environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve coffee, matcha, and other beverages to company standards.
• Operate espresso machines, grinders, and other café equipment.
• Greet customers warmly and take orders accurately.
• Recommend menu items and upsell where appropriate.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area.
• Restock ingredients and supplies throughout the shift.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards.
• Handle cash and POS transactions accurately.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Work closely with the kitchen and front-of-house team to ensure smooth service.

Qualifications \& Requirements

• Previous experience as a Barista is preferred (1+ year is an advantage).
• Knowledge of espresso extraction, milk steaming, and basic latte art is preferred.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, reliability, and strong teamwork skills.
• Basic English communication skills (additional languages are a plus).
• Flexibility to work weekends, evenings, and public holidays.
• Food safety certification is an advantage.
