Barista - Local Hiring

About the Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic and customer-focused Barista to join our team. The ideal candidate is passionate about coffee, provides outstanding customer service, and thrives in a fast-paced hospitality environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages according to company standards.
• Ensure consistency in beverage quality and presentation.
• Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service.
• Take customer orders accurately and process payments when required.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of the coffee station and dining area.
• Restock ingredients, cups, and supplies as needed.
• Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
• Follow food safety, hygiene, and sanitation standards at all times.
• Assist with opening and closing duties.
• Work closely with the team to ensure smooth daily operations.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience as a Barista in a café, restaurant, or hospitality environment.
• Good knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and espresso-based beverages.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
• Positive attitude, well-groomed appearance, and team-oriented mindset.
• Basic English communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in specialty coffee is an advantage.
• Knowledge of latte art is a plus.

Pay: From KD200.000 per month
