Youth Staff on cruise ships

Position: Youth Staff (Kids & Teens Animator)

Job Description:

As a Youth Staff member, you will be responsible for organizing and delivering fun, safe, and engaging activities for children (ages 3–11) and teens (ages 12–17) onboard MSC Cruises ships. This is a unique opportunity to travel the world, gain international work experience, and create unforgettable memories for young guests.

Key Responsibilities:

• Plan and lead daily activities such as games, sports, crafts, theme parties, and educational workshops

• Supervise children and teens during scheduled programs and ensure a safe, fun environment

• Interact positively with children, teens, and parents from diverse cultural backgrounds

• Present and promote the youth program to families onboard

• Work closely with the entertainment team and follow MSC standards and guidelines

Requirements:

• Previous experience working with children or teens (e.g. in camps, schools, kindergartens, kids’ clubs, animation teams)

• Good English skills (B2 level or higher); knowledge of other languages (e.g. Italian, Spanish, German, French) is a plus

• Energetic, creative, responsible, and great with kids

• Minimum age: 21

• Valid passport and willingness to undergo medical examination and training (STCW) if selected
