Job Summary

Website \& Digital Marketing Specialists combine technical expertise, strategic thinking, design skills, and hands-on website management to support a number of agency clients. They are responsible for maintaining and improving both small- and large-scale WordPress websites, troubleshooting technical issues, implementing enhancements, supporting campaigns and organizational initiatives, and ensuring that sites remains secure, fast, accessible, and search-engine friendly. Secondary to website management, this role supports various marketing initiatives, including lead gen, email campaign design \& distribution, social media, digital ads, and SEO. Digital Marketing Specialists also collaborate with other team members to provide clients with regular reports detailing all initiatives, are responsible for interpreting campaign data, and are tasked with making recommendations to clients to improve their overall marketing strategy.

Position Responsibilities

  • Design, Develop and launch new websites for clients. Includes setup of hosting accounts with managed hosting providers (e.g., Kinsta, WP Engine), DNS records (e.g., Cloudflare), domain management, plugin configuration, initial SEO optimization, migration of content from other sites, SSL certificates and other technical support.
  • Perform regular maintenance on client sites. Includes modifications to site navigation, addition of new content, core CMS updates, plugin and database updates, addressing security issues, and making proactive recommendations on site performance.
  • Work with client IT teams to manage website firewalls, configure backups, execute malware prevention, and maintain uptime monitoring protocols.
  • Manage MarTech integration, establishing connections between Wordpress and other external tools, including CRMs, payment gateways, and automation tools (Hubspot, Salesforce, Stripe, etc)
  • Manage digital ad campaigns, including Eurostaffs Lead Gen, Google Ads and Meta Ads -- certification a plus
  • Ensure brand consistency throughout search engines, social media, and online advertising
  • Data processing and analysis, running assessments, making recommendations, proposing strategy, and implementing tactics
  • Fueling client growth through account and bid optimization, data analysis, keyword and audience research, ad copy development, and more
  • Create, edit and optimize new and existing website content to increase organic search rankings and referral traffic
  • Build, manage and adjust paid search and display campaigns for improved performance
  • Plan, develop and publish paid advertising content for social media channels
  • Create reports and provide feedback to clients on performance of digital marketing initiatives such as website traffic, social media activity and ad performance
  • Support lead-gen campaigns, including contact research, workflow setup, building landing pages, and campaign analytics
  • Competitive analysis reporting
  • Email distribution using tools such as Hubspot, Pardot, Campaigner and Mailchimp (training provided)
  • Perform other related duties as necessary or assigned

Qualifications

The Web \& Digital Marketing Specialist should have experience in both strategy and execution for website planning and development, email marketing automation, CRM management, digital advertising, SEO, and analytics and tracking. Strong verbal and written communications skills are a must, as well as comfort presenting both internally and to clients. This person should be an energetic self-starter capable of working independently or with an assigned client team.

Required Experience:

  • Minimum 5+ years experience in website design and deployment
  • Advanced, deep architectural knowledge of Wordpress theme structures, custom post types, and the plugin economy.
  • Experience with page builders such as Elementor
  • Monitoring analytics and creating marketing reports
  • Experience managing SEO, AEO, GEO, SEM
  • Search Engine PPC campaigns
  • Familiarity with SEO tools (Moz, SEMRush, AHRefs or similar)
  • Fluency in website analytics tools, including Google Analytics

General Requirements:

  • Must be highly organized and able to prioritize
  • Ability to stay focused and accomplish tasks without supervision

Pay: $40.00 - $70.00 per hour
