About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced and tech-savvy Payroll Specialist to join our team. In this client-facing role, you will be responsible for the end-to-end processing of monthly payrolls for our assigned corporate clients, specifically focusing on Malaysia \& Singapore payroll operations and support.
Job Responsibilities:
- End-to-End Payroll Processing: Process monthly payrolls accurately and on time for assigned clients, primarily covering Malaysia payroll with cross-border support for Singapore payroll.
- Statutory Compliance Management: Ensure strict adherence to national regulations:
- Malaysia: Manage all contributions and filings for EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB, and HRDF.
- Singapore: Support CPF, SDL, employee deductions, and localized payroll reporting.
- Quality Assurance \& Variance Checking: Review payroll inputs, track calculations, perform variance analysis, and thoroughly inspect data records before finalization to eliminate errors.
- Reporting \& Submissions: Prepare and submit comprehensive payroll reports, statutory contribution files, and tax-related documentation to clients and relevant government authorities.
- Client \& Stakeholder Relations: Act as the primary point of contact for payroll-related queries, providing timely and accurate resolutions to clients, employees, and internal stakeholders.
- Tech-Driven Optimization: Actively use advanced Excel functionality, HRIS/payroll systems, and approved digital/AI tools to enhance validation, checking, and documentation workflows.
- Data Security: Maintain absolute confidentiality regarding client and employee payroll information, ensuring total alignment with data protection regulations and responsible tool usage.
- Team Support: Guide junior team members, assist with performance alignment, and actively contribute to payroll process improvement projects.
Job Requirements \& Qualifications:
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
- Experience: 2–3 years of direct, hands-on experience handling both Malaysia and Singapore payroll processing.
- Environment Background: Prior experience working within a payroll outsourcing vendor, shared services center (SSC), or client-facing corporate payroll environment is highly preferred.
- Language Proficiency: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English and Mandarin are required; fluency or proficiency in Cantonese is a strong added advantage (to support specific regional client portfolios).
- Core Competencies: Exceptionally detail-oriented, analytical, capable of managing tight compliance deadlines, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.

Pay: RM4,000.00 - RM5,500.00 per month
