Job Description

Reporting to:

Logistics Operations Manager and/or approved company delegate

Main Location:

Bellinstown, Ballyboughal, Co. Dublin

Normal Hours:

Monday to Friday, 8:00am to 17.00pm (1-hour unpaid lunch). Hours may vary in order to meet business requirements and flexibility required based on business needs.

Role Overview:

To maintain agreed client service levels.

To positively contribute in order to enhance continuous development.

Unloading and sortation of goods in. Picking, staging, and loading of goods out.

Maintenance of excellent housekeeping standards and compliance with all health and safety requirements.

Main duties and responsibilities

  • Support company RP \& DRP to ensure full compliance with HPRA guidelines, GDP (Good Distribution Practice), and applicable GMP standards for handling, storing, and distributing pharmaceutical and BioCare products.
  • Perform goods receiving, including verification of batch numbers, expiry dates, temperature status, documentation accuracy \& any specific client requirements
  • Manage cold‑chain products (ambient, chilled, frozen), ensuring temperature integrity and completing all temperature‑logging documentation.
  • Prepare, pick, and stage customer orders following strict SOPs, quality standards, and traceability requirements.
  • Operate barcode scanners and WMS systems for traceability, inventory accuracy, and stock control.
  • Conduct routine cycle counts, stock investigations, and discrepancy reporting, ensuring all non-conformances were escalated and recorded.
  • Support HPRA audits, GDP inspections, and internal quality checks, maintaining audit-ready warehouse conditions.
  • Carry out loading and unloading of vehicles, ensuring correct segregation of pharmaceutical freight and accurate completion of paperwork.
  • Maintain high housekeeping and safety standards (5S), ensuring a clean, compliant storage environment at all times.
  • Complete cleaning records as required ensuring compliance to GDP (Good documentation practice)
  • Handle biologics, sterile products, and high-value controlled stock in line with site procedures.
  • Operate counterbalance forklift, electric pallet trucks VNA, and other MHE safely and responsibly.
  • Actively monitor the temperature monitoring system with management
  • Report any instance of non-conformance to management.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:

· Good Distribution Practice Training

· Counterbalance forklift training

· VNA Training

· Manual Handling Training

Desirable:

Previous experience operating in the GDP/GMP environment

The ideal candidate will have:

  • Strong verbal and written communication Excellent accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Understanding planning, shipping, warehouse management and inventory systems
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving and communication skills
  • Willing and able to work hours to suit business needs including weekends and overtime
  • Ability to work as part of a team
  • Awareness of Health and Safety Requirements
  • Ability to perform all warehouse duties in an efficient and effective manner
