1. Warehouse Operations
- Coordinate daily receiving, checking, storage, picking and issuing of raw materials, finished goods and other warehouse items.
- Ensure all incoming and outgoing materials are properly recorded and documented.
- Verify quantity, item description, specifications and condition of materials received.
- Ensure materials are stored systematically according to warehouse procedures.
- Assist in loading and unloading activities and ensure proper handling of goods.
- Monitor warehouse cleanliness, housekeeping and safety requirements.
2. Inventory Control
- Maintain accurate inventory records and ensure physical stock matches system records.
- Conduct daily/monthly stock checking and participate in stock take activities.
- Investigate stock discrepancies and report findings to the Warehouse Manager.
- Monitor stock levels and highlight shortages, excess or slow-moving items.
- Ensure proper FIFO/FEFO practices where applicable.
- Update inventory transactions accurately in the warehouse/ERP system.
3. Warehouse Documentation
- Prepare and maintain Goods Received Notes (GRN), Delivery Orders (DO), stock transfer records, material requisitions and other warehouse documents.
- Ensure all warehouse transactions are properly authorized and recorded.
- Maintain proper filing and traceability of warehouse records.
- Assist in preparing daily and monthly warehouse reports.
4. Chinese Translation \& Communication
- Provide Mandarin ↔ English/Malay translation for management, employees and relevant departments.
- Translate work instructions, warehouse procedures, notices and other operational documents when required.
- Assist Chinese-speaking management during meetings, briefings and discussions with local employees.
- Facilitate communication between Chinese-speaking management and warehouse/production personnel.
- Ensure translated information is communicated accurately and clearly.
- Assist in translating technical or operational terminology related to warehouse and manufacturing activities.
5. Coordination with Other Departments
- Coordinate with Production, Purchasing, QA, Logistics and Sales/Customer Service regarding material and product movements.
- Follow up on incoming materials and delivery schedules.
- Coordinate with suppliers and transporters when required.
- Escalate warehouse issues, stock discrepancies, damaged goods or delivery problems to the relevant supervisor/manager.
Requirements
- Diploma/Degree in Warehouse Management, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration or related field.
- Fluent in Mandarin, English and Bahasa Malaysia.
- Able to read and write Mandarin is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience in warehouse inventory systems / ERP systems is preferred.
- Good knowledge of warehouse documentation and inventory control.
- Willing to support translation work outside normal warehouse duties when required.
Pay: RM2,500.00 - RM3,500.00 per month
